The total length of all magnetoresistive layer strips (4) of each measuring element is divided in 2n equal length parts, with n as a whole number. The length parts are assembled together from the lengths of the magneto-resistive layer strips (4) and/or of layer strip sections (5) and the length parts form pairs, which respectively form the same positive and negative inclination angle (5) between the longitudinal direction of the magnetoresistive layer strips (4) or layer strip sections (5) and the preferable direction of the respective region (2). The chip alignment is such, that each further measuring element transmits a cyclic output signal phase shifted differently to the signal of the first measuring element. The magnetoresistive layer strips (4) form the resistances of the respective measuring elements.
