A torsional vibration absorber (10) normally included three individual disc parts. The new design (10) comprises of primary surface (12) with a primary disc part (16), a secondary surface (14) with a secondary disc part (18) positioned axially or radial opposite each other, an absorption spring assembly (34), joined between the primary disc part (16) and a spring element (36) joined to the secondary disc part (18), which is compressed when the parts (16,18) are rotated. No additional disc parts, positioned opposite the primary (16), the secondary disc part (18) respectively, are required.
