A time switch (1) produces time interval sequences ON + OFF, to reduce the primary energy demand. The rotary parts of apparatus (2) are fitted with more mass than required to provide a flywheel (3) which keeps the speed of the parts constant during a time x. The flywheel may be attached to the rotary parts. The time switch is operatively connected to the electric motor (5) of the part of the apparatus equipped with the flywheel, so that ON-OFF-ON... time intervals are generated in the drive- or idle OFF-sequences, such that constant rotation energy remains available.
