The arrangement enables the heating medium flowing through the channels (7) to be seen from the outside. The liquid heating medium is colored or contains marking material in the form of floating solid material particles which are platelets with shiny surfaces. Where the heating medium is colored, the colorant changes in tone dependent upon the temperature. The heating body (1) in its surface area comprises two flat connected glass bodies, whereby the surface facing the other glass body has cavities machined or formed in it constituting the flow channels.
