Construction method for bridge or part of bridge uses shuttering boards as lost shuttering to reduce construction costs

The shuttering for a leaf of a bridge (1), with bearing element (4) and superstructure (3) is constructed, concrete is poured, and the shuttering is removed. Before concreting, a shuttering board (6) is used as lost shuttering inf the end face area of an end cross strut (5) of the superstructure. The board is placed parallel to an end wall (9) of the bridge leaf. The superstructure is constructed by a number of boards positioned next to each other and connected by a connector (8), which defines a gap (10) between the leaf and superstructure.
