The gas accumulator is of the dynamic type (3), whereby a device (4), during the emission of work gas from the accumulator, holds the pressure at a constant level whilst there is an alteration in gas volume (3g) in the accumulator. The device (4) feeds a pressure fluid volume (3oe) into the pressure gas accumulator, causing the gas volume (3g) to be activated with a predetermined pressure. The dynamic gas accumulator is of the hydraulic type, encompassing the gas volume (3g) and the pressure fluid volume (3oe). The sum of the gas volume and the pressure fluid volume is constant.
