A process for the dispersion polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) (EUM) in liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide is carried out in presence of a stabilizer with a comb-like block structure comprising an EUM-based polymer backbone with side chains consisting of hydrocarbon spacers and siloxane units.
