Mobile telephone with call tone signal memory samples analogue signal for entering digital count values in memory for use as individual call tone signal upon playback via wideband loudspeaker

The mobile telephone has an electronic digital memory (2) for storing one or more acoustic signals which are reproduced for providing the telephone call tone signal. The acoustic signals are entered in the memory as digital count values obtained by sampling an analogue signal provided by a microphone (5) and converted into an analogue electrical signal fed to a wideband loudspeaker (9) upon read-out from the memory. An Independent claim for a mobile telephone operating method is also included.
