A liquid dispenser, comprising a replaceable liquid container and pump unit (12) which, on insertion, simultaneously couples a pump (20) to a motor and a container (16) to a housing (10), is new. A liquid dispenser comprises a replaceable unit (12) having a liquid container (16) and a delivery pump (20) with an input projection which is rotated, for liquid delivery from the container (16), by the output shaft extension of a d.c. motor within a housing (10). The unit (12) is pushed relative to the housing (10) to effect simultaneous removable coupling of the pump (20) to the motor and the container (16) to the housing (10).
