The coupling for the release mounting of a drill bit to the drive shaft, of a drill, is composed of two coupling half-sections (1,2), screwed together by a cap nut (5). The drive forces are transferred at the end sides (15,16) of the half-sections (1,2) by segmented carriers (17) with tooth structures which mesh together in a positive fit.
