The arrangement has at least one weight sensor (10,12) for a seat attached to the vehicle body (6) with a seat part and a back part and an evaluation device connected to the sensor. The seat part has a lower seat part (8) as a solid lower frame or shell and an upper seat part (7) as a solid upper frame or shell. The lower seat part or holder is attached to the vehicle body and the upper seat part carries a seat cushion with a forward seat ramp (22). The upper seat part is pivotably joined to the lower part via a transverse pivot axis (9). The weight sensor(s) (10,12) is mounted between the seat upper and lower parts offset with respect to the pivot axis.
