The transport and delivery device provides vertical transport of each coin roll using a vertical or upwards inclined shaft (10), matched in size to the transported coin rolls, e.g. via an adjustable sidewall (8), with a pivoted stack retention device (3) at the open bottom end of the shaft, operated in synchronism with a vertically displaced lifting slider (1) for delivery of the topmost coin roll.
