On its opposing sides the outer edge of the opening (2) is reinforced right along at an angle. The reinforcement is anchored in the reinforcement (1.1) of the opening and joined throughout on the bar side to the legs (12.2) of a box frame. The edge reinforcement comes in frame form and composed of welded profiles (10) whose one leg (10.2) is welded to reinforcement (1.1) and so cast into wall of the building. The steel profiles (10) come in T section, the center leg (10.1) welded to the building wall (1) and the transverse leg (10.2) on the wall side welded to the reinforcement (1.1). The profile leg (10.2) on the bar side is welded to the box frame (11) so that both cross leg (10.2,10.3) terminate flush with the edge of the building wall. The steel profiles of the frame (11) are welded into L shapes, of which the shorter legs (12.2) are connected to the edge reinforcement as opposed to the longer legs (12.1) which take the bars (6,8).
