Operational and auxiliary computers have separate bus interconnections, with communication between them within control units. In each control unit, a table is stored in the operational and/or auxiliary computers. These store failure events in, and/or failure reports from, control units allocated a fault handling routine. The computers of a control unit initiate a failure report to the bus.
