Particularly for a road vehicle, the thermic accumulator contains a medium for storage of heat and/or cold, with a housing (12) containing several stacked containers (18,20), which hold accumulator medium and are spaced apart by distance holders (22). The distance holders contribute to the formation of flow channels for a heat carrier medium loading or unloading the accumulator (10). The distance holders are of a net type, and threads running crossways to one another are of plastic.
