The spray nozzles (4) are designed as mist sprays held in a compressed air-loaded chamber (9) and each furnished with a nozzle body (5) joined to the air chamber via the nozzle bore (6) and its radially or acutely angled air feed channels (7). The nozzle bore is extended (6) to the rear to contain a water spray jet (8) loaded with pressurized water so as to produce a water jet in the bore direction. The water pressure exceeds that of the chamber (9) air and the spray jet also forms a bore in the main body (5) of the nozzle. The air feed channels are equispaced round the nozzle body so the spray jet runs centrally in the bore and in this way strikes the area where the channeled (7) air is deflected towards the nozzle bore. The ratio of the bore and spray jet diameters should not exceed 5:1, water volume amounting to 0.7 l/min maximum and air pressure to be 1.5 bar at least.
