Process for determining the concentration of acids in a mixture comprises reacting the acid mixture, comprising nitric, fluoric and hexafluorosilicic acids and optionally further (in)organic compounds with a basic titration until an equivalent point is reached between a hydrogen ion concentration of 10-2 - 10-3.5and continuing until a concentration of 10-4 - 10-5 and then 10-10 - 10-11 is met.
