The inside of the conveying tube's sections have a mineral, metal or ceramic material lining(22,24) to provide protection against wear. An annular passage(16) extending in the circumferential direction perpendicularly to the direction of conveying is provided inside the tubular segments(10) in the region of the air intake(12). The linings are glued against the inner faces of the tube sections, and are especially embedded by means of a special mortar(30). The thickness of the lining(24) downstream of the air intake is greater than that of the lining(22) upstream of it. An Independent claim is included for a procedure to fluidize a product flow, especially an abrasive comminuted product, by the blowing of air around the product flow.
