The pressure control valve has a spring-loaded closure element (31) positioned in a housing (11) and which can alter an opening cross-section between an inflow and backflow opening. The closure element is guided by a guide element (32) in the form of a membrane which divides the housing into an inflow (21) and backflow (22) compartment. Both compartments are hydraulically connected by at least one damping passage (36).
