The safe has a main body which has at least one layer of solid material. The main body (1) consists of a hidden plastic or sheet metal inner cladding (6) at least partly enclosed by at least one concrete part (2,3,4). The transition parts, on the hidden inner cladding, between horizontal side cladding parts and vertical base and or lid cladding parts have chamfered and or rounded and or sloping edges (13). At least one open side wall has a concrete or steel safe-door (5).
