A roller bearing cage is fabricated in a pliable plastics material, especially for a cylinder roller bearing or a needle bearing. The cage has an axial slit at one or more points at one point on its circumference, where the two ends of the cage meet in a dovetail arrangement as seen in plan view. Each of the cage ends has a projection corresponding with an interlocking recess.
