The trunk handling device has a handler and a guide sector with guide and feed devices (126, 128), including two guide works with guide roller fittings (130, 132, 134, 136). The guide rollers of these fittings are adjustable so that the guide rollers of the relevant fitting are at different spacing from the handling axis running along the trunk feed sector.
