The center console pocket is closed off in two halves by covers (5,6) moved both ways by cables, and a grip (7) starting out central from between the two closed and converged covers is coupled by rocker arm to the related cover for selected direction of movement (11,12). An additional pocket (10) slides with the grip (7) so as to move out of the main pocket in direction (11) or back into the main pocket in direction (FR). The respective rocket arms move in a guide in the cover direction of movement and engage the cover driver tag by means of the rocker arm noses. The guides come in two offset sectors in order to reverse the rocker and engage the covers accordingly, with the two offset sectors meeting at a crossover point.
