The sand blasting device has a nozzle unit (4, 5) for the sand blasting medium connected to a silo (1) and to the compressed air unit (3, 9, 12, 15) which in turn has a rotatable compressed air supply unit (3, 12) which is connected to and projects into the silo (1). The nozzle holder unit (6, 7) for guiding the nozzle unit is mounted on the silo . The rotatable compressed air supply unit is rotatable with the silo through a drive unit (31, 32). The compressed air supply unit comprises a reservoir or accumulator (3) fixed to the silo base inside the silo and fitted with a rotary tube (12).
