Automatic headlamp height controller, active if headlamps are switched on ensures that other traffic participants are not dazzled by headlamps

The height controller has a mechanically functioning headlamp motor, and an automatic headlamp height controller. The AHHC (automatic headlamp height controller) is characterized by the fact that it is only active if the headlamps are switched on. The headlamps are adjusted to 90 degrees, a horizontal position. If this value is changed however by other influences, e.g., by overloading, (95 degrees), the headlamp motor is activated by the AHHC and the headlamp motor adjusts the headlamp again down to 90 degrees. Sensors fastened below and above the headlamps report 90 degrees to the AHHC, when attained, which in turn deactivates the motor.
