Cutting stacked workpiece boards involves cutting through part of the stack with a leading blade and the remainder with a trailing blade at a different penetration depth

The method involves cutting the boards (16) with two circular saw blades (28,30) that are brought into engagement with the board stack one after the other along a separation plane with different penetration depths. The leading blade (28) cuts through a part of the stack and the trailing blade (30) cuts through the remainder. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement, esp. for implementing the method.
