Fitting method for rail vehicle windows uses assembly frame with positioner blocks and vacuum suction elements to place adhesive-coated window modules into body cut-outs from vehicle interior

The method uses an assembly aid, which engages into internal holder points and rails in the vehicle. A window module is fitted into a window aperture from the interior of the vehicle, to be flat with the outside of the wall, and adjusted. The window module is coated with adhesive, and placed on positioner blocks, which have previously been fitted from the vehicle interior, into the lower part of the window cut-out via C-profiles (23) under the cut-out. An assembly frame (1) with vacuum suction elements (12) is fitted into C-profiles above and below the cut-out, the module is held by the suction elements, and the module position is adjusted from the inside of the vehicle.
