PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stress from outside even in narrow and complicated environment in reactor pressure vessel, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain the integrity of plant. ;SOLUTION: On operation floor 1 after removing fuel assembly in a reactor pressure vessel 2, a support column 20 loaded by a laser oscillator 70 and a light guide 25 are placed; and in the reactor pressure vessel 2, a horizontal light guide 29 and a laser work device 73 for annulus are loaded. The light guide 25 is connected to a movable reflection type mirror box 24, the mirror box 24 is connected to a light guide mast 26 and the light guide mast 26 is connected to a horizontal light guide 29. By transmitting laser from the laser oscillator 70 on the operation floor 1 to the laser work device 73 for annulus and irradiating laser to the work object from the laser work device 73 for annulus, stress is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
