Metal rods are bent into shapes corresponding to the concrete structure, and joined to one another by wires to attain shape stability and stiffness. The configuration produced is covered with an initial thin layer of concrete. Further layers of concrete are applied to the hardened initial layer. Finally the edge, corner etc. surfaces of still formable concrete are shaped by gages and templates.
