An exercise book (A-F) for practicing handwriting and drawing has transparent pages on which to write and draw and with opaque printed pages for the master patterns. The printed pages can be removed and stored in a wallet section of the book for future reuse. The book can be provided with filing tags to hold the pages in the required order. The transparent pages can be cleaned off for reuse, or can simply be replaced.
