The arrangement has at least one sensor (6) for detecting operating parameters of the vehicles (2,3) within the train and a controller (7) connected to the sensor and associated with one end of the train. The operating parameters detected by the sensor, e.g. for a main air line running the length of the train, are compared with predefined values and a conclusion is drawn wrt. the integrity or completeness of the train from the comparison result.
