Influencing effect of energy optimization system for limiting electrical power drain of several electric loads e.g. for large kitchens and bakeries, involves isolating certain loads from system during switch-off-free periods

The method involves selecting a time interval for each load (26,27) during which switching off the power supply is undesirable, electrically isolating each selected load from the energy optimization system (13) at the start of its switch-off-free period and connecting it again at the end of the period. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
