The invention relates to centrifugal classifier wheels with classifier wheel blades, which preferably consist of brittle material, in particular ceramic, and which are formed from several elements of basic geometric shape. The basic elements are assembled according to the invention in such a way that at least one plane of the joints between two adjacent elements runs through the notch base line of the classifying wheel blade. This prevents stress concentrations in the area of corners and recesses, which could otherwise lead to stress breaks and destruction of the classifying wheel blades.
