Technical procedures are controlled and regulated by one or more control units and monitored by sensors (12). A production line (1) has a data processing unit (11). Control and measurement data from the control unit and the sensors is fed to the data processing unit and stored in a memory unit (14). Parts of this data selected for the assembly process are also stored in a further system memory (15).
