Cylinder body (1) is flanged to head of spindle (3) which has disk (13) of ferromagnetic material with magnetic coil (14,15) at both sides. Magnetic coils are controlled by registration unit which compares detected register marks with required register value to provide correct position. Magnets exert tensile force on cylinder position which is adjusted by screw-like rolling. When correct position is reached, magnetic coils are controlled to hold the position.
