Production of substituted carbon monoxide copolymers for production of fibres, film or moldings involves reaction in the melt with compounds containing a double or triple bond or a tertiary or benzylic hydrogen atom
Production of substituted carbon monoxide copolymers for production of fibres, film or moldings involves reaction in the melt with compounds containing a double or triple bond or a tertiary or benzylic hydrogen atom
Alternating carbon monoxide copolymers (CMC) with covalently-bound organic substituents are obtained by reacting linear alternating CMC (A) and organic compounds (B) containing a C-C double or triple bond or a tert. or benzylic hydrogen atom at 180-290 deg C in the CMC melt. Independent claims are also included for: (a) substituted CMC obtained by this process; (b) polymer mixtures containing unfunctionalized CMC and functionalized CMC as described above.
