The ring spinner, to produce a cladded yarn has at least two holders for long-fiber mantle yarns (12,13) and a holder for a short-fiber yarn (14) forming at least part of the yarn core. The ring spinner (10) has tensioners (15,16) to stabilize the yarn tensions between the holders for bobbins of long-fiber mantle yarns (12,13) and the active yarn feed (17), and over the feeds (17,18).. A roller yarn drawing unit (21) is at the spinner (10), with at least two rollers and an outlet roller. A ceramic guide roller (19) feeds the long-fiber core yarn (11) to the outlet roller of the roller drawing unit (21). A winder (20) winds the mantle and core yarns. The yarn feeds (17,18) are over the drawing unit (21) An Independent claim is included for a cladded yarn spinning process where the short-fiber yarn (14) is led through a drawing unit (21) to an outlet roller. The long-fiber yarn (11) is fed through an active feed (18) and a ceramic guide roller (19) as the drawing unit outlet roller, to be combined into a core spun yarn. A winder (20) takes the long-fiber mantle yarns (12,13) from their tensioners (15,16) and active feeds (17), to wind them round the core into a cladded yarn of three layers. Preferred Features: A short-fiber yarn (14) acts as the core to be wound with mantle yarns (12,13) as a two-layer cladded yarn. The core and mantle yarns can be of Lyocell (RTM; cellulose fibers) and rayon.
