The fastener (10) has a strip-like base element (11) locked to the bar (2) and a plastic strip-like clamp element (12). The base element consists of the same material as the profiled bar, esp. aluminum. The side wall (15) of the element is aligned with the associated side wall (4) of the bar. Due to this, the flat part (1), the base element, and the bar form an almost smooth surface. The clamp element has a clamp section (22) of relatively stiff material and a sealing section (23) of relatively soft material, which engages smoothly on the flat part.
