A data stream is transferred using a small number of carriers. Periodic test sequences are embedded in the data stream. The test sequences are transferred as a single carrier method and that a number of the channels is selected in such a way that the length of the symbols in the channels equal to the length of the test sequences. The selected channel should be that, in which a spectral blackout arises.
