The fluid enters the degassing vessel (6) through line (2), pressure reduction valve (3), degassing line (4) and micro-bubble separator (5) that release air bubbles into a rubber bag (7) from where it escapes through outlet (8,9). The air-free fluid is withdrawn by pump (11) through line (10) and returned to the system through non-return valve (12). The micro-bubble separator receives partially degassed fluid in antechamber (13) from where it passes into a chamber (16) defined by perforated plates (15). The chamber is filled with rings that agglomerate micro into macro-bubbles.
