The window pane (3) is securely held (4) to the wall (1) in front of the window opening or behind this in the case of screen walls etc, and as held thus the pane is sealed all round by the sleeving (10) with the edge of the glass (6). The sealing sleeve is inserted in a mounting (12) of the specially fitted sealing securement profile (9) separate from the pane holder (4). The profile adapts to sleeve shape (10) and is applied to the pane (3) or opposing wall (1) or screen or again to floor or ceiling as appropriate. The profile (9) is made up of straight profile parts and bent parts to be bonded or screwed to the wall or opposite side (7). The sleeve seal (10) is bonded into the mounting (12) or again plugged into holes provided or clamped into a composite mounting (12). The seal sleeving (10) is inserted in a holder (9) joined or integrated with the pane holders (4) and led round the window opening (2) and round the edge (6) if the window is closed and there sealed to the wall (1). The sleeving has a side connection joined to a three-way cock or nonreturn valve and fitted out with a bleed line to reduce the sleeve (10) overpressure. The sleeve has a feed line for air pump, gas bottle etc and uses an interposed nonreturn valve and so connected permanently to the overpressure source by pressure line.
