The ramp unit consists of two internal flotation bodies (10) and two external ones (20). Pivots (14) between the internal bodies and double hinge pivots (24, 26) between the inner and outer bodies enable them to be folded. The lower decks of the internal and external flotation bodies are flat in regions over the entire length. The flat regions are parallel to each other in the folded positions.
