The pump/motor has a housing (10) with toothed gear arrangement (14) having two or more externally meshing gears (16,18). At least one gear is effected directly or indirectly by a device (20) with at least one power component (22) acting in radial direction against an operational force (26) on the gear, into the direction away from the second gear. It at least partially compensates for the operational force. The device is located in a bearing body (28) and acts via a shaft (34) connected to the gear.
