Compressor with variable output for cooling or coolant cycle for motor vehicle improves the fuel efficiency of the vehicle engine and can be produced at relatively low cost
The compressor is driven by the vehicle's propulsive engine and contains a compression unit (Cp) with a coolant inlet (106) and outlet (109) and a compression chamber (Vc), a compression unit coolant output quantity variation unit (Vx) and a regulation unit that mechanically regulates the variation unit. The regulation unit contains a coolant passage (112) and a choke element (113) with a fixed opening extent. The regulation unit controls the variation unit according to the pressure difference across the choke unit in the coolant passage.
