The short circuit cage consists of two metal half parts (1,2), pref. of cast copper, that are joined together and each consists of half the total number of short circuit rods (5,7) and a short circuit ring (4,6) with a corresp. number of apertures (8,9) in the ring segments for the complementary part. An independent claim is also included for an electrical machine, preferably an asynchronous machine. -
