The heating arrangement is arranged in the area of and above a pig pen, and is composed of one or several radiator elements (1), which are mutually connectable. The radiator elements are arranged in a preferred amount of approx. 50 cm above a rubber insulating mat (9) in the pig pen area, whereby the entire surface area of the insulating mat, and thereby the pig nest, is covered. An Independent claim is provided for a method for controlling the heating arrangement.
