Measurement parameter detection arrangement for distributed optical sensor network

The arrangement has a light source (1) emitting several wavelengths, several sensors (2) and an evaluation unit (3). The light source and sensors and evaluation unit are interconnected via optical fibres (4,6). The evaluation unit contains a wavelength demultiplier for separating light of different wavelengths. Each sensor intensity modulates light of its associated wavelength with a measurement parameter. The evaluation unit has an intensity sensor for detecting the intensities of the light of the individual wavelengths and a measurement parameter converter for determining the measurement parameters from the intensities.
