The air defense system involves one or more air balloons (1) launched into the air and having different shapes. The balloons are coated with aluminum or copper (2) and are filled with an explosive gas or a light filler gas or a mixture of both types of gas. In a test installation for aircraft and rockets, particularly for their navigation and control systems (3), the balloons have interference devices formed as a radar transmitter, a light source, or an infrared source. The interference source works on a pulsating basis or continuously and are synchronized from the navigation system of the approaching aircraft. The individual interference devices are connected mechanically with one another and with the air balloons by a cable (8).
