Elastic supports for rail track consist of single blocks of resin shaped to hold rail base and incorporate filling made of recycled rubber chips

An elastic support for a rail track has a single block with raised side flanges (4) to hold each side of the track profile. The block is made of a two part resin and is filled with recycled rubber chips (2) to provide the required damping effect. The side flanges have less chips and are firmer. Fitting holes through the side flanges take the bolts which secure the block to the track bed. The underside of the block has a profiled surface contour to grip onto the rail bed.
