The wave-guide coupler links or divides HF signals in two dielectric wave-guides (2,3), which are fitted between two parallel, flat conductors (1a,b), while maintaining a preset gap. The dielectric wave-guides are connected by at least one bridge (4) of dielectric material. The bridge width is less than the respective width of each dielectric waveguide. The relative dielectricity constant of the bridge is also less than that of the wave guides. The bridge is typically an integral part of the wave-guides.
